Whitetail Deer Acrylic on Canvas Painting Demonstration

I just finished this commission for a young lady.
She will give to her husband as a wedding gift.
The most important part of the whole painting is
the shape of the antlers and the crook or bend
at the tip of one of the antlers

Psalm 42:1-2

As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

  1. Nathalie, thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your so very kind comments. Reading about your Mom and Dad brought tears to my eyes. God bless them.
Do I sleep you ask? :-) I'm blessed with a wonderful husband who is retired who cooks and runs errands for me and also knows how to use a vacuum cleaner. :-) We share chores and sort of have traded roles since I was a stay-at-home mom and now am the bread winner - although I'm lucky to work from home. Our girls are grown women now - and we're so proud of them both.
Looking forward to having you visit my blog again!
    Blessings!
    Diane
